Hardware temperature monitoring software/android tablet.

Does anyone use their Android device (personally, I'm using my tablet) to monitor the hardware temperatures for their gaming rigs?

I am using a program a program called "Remote System Monitor" on my Samsung Galaxy 4 with a small server on the gaming rig to transmit the data to my tablet. Pretty good bit of freeware that monitors more than I expected it to. I was after temperature monitoring only but I ended up with drive i/o rates, temperatures, cpu loading and top 10 cpu hogging apps/processes.

That is good one already; plus using MSI Afterburner + Afterburner Remote Server on your desktop; then installing Android Afterburner app on your Phone/Tablet (from Google Play Store) u can actually not just monitor your GPU, but change the settings from that device, as long as you are on a Local Network and the Afterburner Server is running on the Host/Gaming PC.

I wasn't aware that there was a possibilty of doing that! Thanks. I was just wondering if anyone else used monitoring software. I haven't used the MSI Afterburner on my GPU as I own a Gigabyte Nvidia card and it didn't come with the software as part of the bundled DVD software. Will have a look at that later though as that could be of interest to run along side the monitoring software I am using. Incidentally the software I am using transmits via LAN on the WiFi.

It was definitely one of the functions I was hoping to make use of with the tablet once I had given in and actually got one. But to be changing my main machines settings while using a tablet feels a bit......... Well, let's just say gimme a visor and call me Geordie!

While MSI makes Afterburner; it works on pretty much all AMD/NVIDIA GPUs.

If u use the "Afterburner Remote Server" u simply extract the folder anywhere u like, and run the separate .exe file for that. Then make a shortcut to the .exe location and add that to your Windows Startup.
