How Long Does The Average Ticket Take To Get A Response?

I submitted a ticket in January for a problem I'm having with an achievement not showing up. I got an answer 5 days later (which I thought was kind of long) but it didn't fix the problem. Things got busy, I didn't follow up, the ticket got closed.I can't reopen it because it said I don't have the right to? Anyways, whatever, I opened a new ticket.

But it's been 11 days now and nothing. Is this normal?

you might want to post something in the games discussions to bring it to a developers attention, the developers are the ones that make the acheivents for their games.

That's a separate issue. In the game I have all the achievements. Steam doesn't reflect the same count. I'm missing one. Because part of the solution given was to contact the devs, I did, but as expected, they said that on their end, everything was fine and the issue was with Steam. But thank you for the response. At this point, I've tried all the solutions that I can on my end.

It varies; ALWAYS
Ticket submission goes into a queue system.
So human response can always vary quite a bit. Can sometime be quickly (a few days) or it can be many many days, even weeks sometimes. Have to be patient.

oh i had this same issue once in a game, i unlocked all the acheivs in the game but on steam it said i was missing some. a few months later the devs updated their game and the next time i launched it the acheivs popped up on steam.

It's been almost a year now, I probably can't hope that something similar will happen.

It probably shouldn't matter. I think I'd be less annoyed if someone got back to me and said "Hey, that sucks, nothing we can do, sorry." I'd have mostly forgotten about it by now if that was the case.

there is a way to unlock it if its really bugging you, but i wouldnt recommend it.

I'm not so handy with modifying files and such if that's where you're leading.

yea theres programs out there that can unlock acheivments but ive heard you can get VAC bans from it, hence why i wouldnt reommend it.

Dead Island. I got a thing about finishing all the challenges and such. It'll make me twitchy if it doesn't update. Twitchier.

the dead island one that bugged for me was "together in the light" that game is just really buggy. i did get it to unlock over a year later. no idea why it decided to unlock.

In all honesty, I used SAM for a bugged achievement. I'm not proud of it, but I've got an OCD for minor things like that, I had 166 out of 167 achievements and it drove me insane -- the achievement was very much bugged.

Unfortuantely there have been rumours that you can get VAC banned for it and I wouldn't recommend it either, but as long as you dont use it while on a server, you're fine. I ran it, closed the program, deleted it, and restarted my PC just to be safe.
