Really weird ads on in-game browser?

Okay, so I was reading about skyrim mods on my in-game browser and I saw a REALLY innapropriate ad. I went on another page and saw another one; and more. Everywhere I go they are there. I just hovered over one and my window closed out and my AVG virus detector popped up, detecting a few viruses and a trojan. Is there an adblock or something? Even if there is, why is this happening?

you have steam malware. Do a FULL malwarebytes scanin safe mode withOUT networking.

You need to do a full virus and malware sweep of your computer, sounds a lot like steam malware as stated by HLCinSC.

If the ads continue after doing a full scan, try contacting steam support, I'm sure they will be able to find the solution or a fix.

I'll do the scan now. Why is it only happening on steam though? It doesn't pop up on chrome/Firefox if I turn off adblock.
