Youtube videos will only display in 360p on Steam

Any videos I currently share on steam will only allow a resolution of 360p, I have noticed others have the same issue while some do not. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Think it's the same for everyone.

Same thing in Big picture and SteamOS. all 360p.
Think dev's are working on this for future updates. (But this might be listed as 'low priority')

Yeah thought it was the same for everyone but I have noticed other friends who have posted videos recently and there are full resolution options. If I could compare what they are doing differently maybe I could get to the root of the issue but it's not an easy thing for me to do. Hope it's resolved soon because they look rubbish in 360p
