Why not just use the Library in Steam Client? Or just make a Games folder on Desktop and then go to each Steam game's Properties from Library in Steam Client, and click "Create Desktop Shortcut"
I for one never liked using the shortcuts Steam creates because those are Steam App Links. It's better to just make shortcuts directly to the game .EXE, in case u wish to set properties to that game, or string options to the game .exe
I just liked having the game icons all in that screen (literally, only time I go to that screen).
Desktop shortcuts don't show up in the start screen.
I got bioshock 2 to show up in the windows games section, but I can't seem to do that again for some reason.
As for the steam client, I I can't see all of them at once where they aren't a list in that. Yes, it's a silly thing, but if I can get it to work, I want to get it to work ^_^
There is the Games section (only some games will go here) Steam games will not.
Then there is the All Programs section (the down arrow in the lower-left corner of the Start (Metro Tile) Screen. Again, Steam games won't show there.
Simply go to Steam (u could've done this already upon each Steam game install) Library, go to Properties for each Steam game, click "Create Desktop Shortcut. Once you have all your desktop shortcuts for your Steam games, make a Games or Steam (or whatever u wish) folder on your Desktop, put those Steam Game Shortcuts inside there. Then highlight them all and drag them to the Start Screen.
Or simply edit the Start Menu > All Programs folder to u have a listing of your Steam games in All Programs from the Start Screen. To do that however u have to go here > C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and u can customize there; like putting shortcuts for all Steam games in that Steam folder. Then to access them, click Start Screen > All Programs (or use the quick search) and then should be there. Like within the Steam folder in there for example.
Thanks, I'll try making the folder ^_^
Or ditch the Start Screen option and use a classic Start Menu; which u can get here > http://www.iobit.com/iobitstartmenu8.php
