Slow Download Speeds.

Hello, I know this might be a problem for many others out there, but I'm hoping I might be able to find some help here. Anyway, my average download speed is about 356 KB/S. That's only if I'm not doing anything else, such as ("Streaming youtube videos... etc.") My current internet provider is Windstream(Oh, how I pity myself) and I live in U.S GA. I know that there probably isn't much I can do to fix my speed but if anyone has any tips, feel free to share them.

No, I haven't. I'll look into the regions later and give it a try Thanks!

I usually use speedtest and I got the same result that I usually get:
35 Mbps upload and 11 Mbps download.

Instead of slow Steam speeds it just refuses to download anything. Sometimes it'll go from 0 to the usual 3-4 MB per second but it goes right back down to 0. Now it refuses to even queue anything!

Then it is most likely due to the download server u have selected being overwhelmed, try a different download server from Steam > Settings > Downloads.

I tried that actually. Same thing.

Edit: Tried more servers and Mexico is working better but it still goes down to 0. Goes back up more so that's good but not as good as it should be.

Edit 2: now it's 4 MBps continually <3

I have been very lucky as our internet speed was doubled so we have a lot more bandwidth (60mbps download) and in the past we would get around 1.5 maybe 2 MBs a second download and now when I download games they download at 4 to 4.5 Megabytes a second.
