Hello, i random clicked (i know that's stupid) on a link that someone sent me and it auto-downloaded me a .scr without asking anything. this was probably binded, that's why i deleted it. am i safe till i didn't open it ?

I would deaurhorize all computers and change your steam password

You MUST deaurhorize ALL computers as your hijacker likely has your Steamguard file now

This is a common hijack tactic

there 3 types popular trojan downloaders:
1 exe files like steamguard.exe, steamvalidator.exe etc.
2 %randomname%. img png scr files http://news.drweb.com/show/?p=0&c=5&lng=en&i=5953
3 js php autoit scripts - if you not have Java Runtime installed (especially outdated versions), and use an noscript and adblock in brouser, it not work "as designed"

You most likely fell for this.
It's a scam, do not open it, delete it, run avast or whatever security feature you have to do a scan of your computer.
Never, ever, accept an invitation or click on a link from someone you do not know.
It's internet safety 101.

It means your account was already comprised

Contact support and ensure you again deaurhorize e all your Steamguard computers

Note that Steams policy is that items are not recovered via hijacks

thanks for you help, i was kinda fearing about google chrome, coz it sometimes open .exe just after i downloaded it. I think i'm safe tho

I click a comment in my profile says ''WTF??????'' and a link than I got the virus Scr. file.This virus changes your Steam.exe and takes your password with e-mail.If you got,DONT LOGIN! Change your e-mail password and Steam password,than scan your computer.(I delete my 700 Gb Steam for safety.)You guys can see the virus spreaders in my profile comments.
