is anyone else getting this error when trying to make a purchase on steam ?

every payment method, CC paypal etc. all do the same

I have even tried using a Browser, same error . * cleared Cache cookies etc.

I already put in a support ticket. But who knows how long that will take.

Has anyone had this , and fixed it?

UPDATE~~ Fixed I was able to work around the error.

If anyone else gets this error what i did was revert back to NON beta steam, than I switched back to BETA. This cleared out my cart. And i can now purchase once again.

I hope this helps anyone lese having this issue

that is STUPID how can i buy items that have OFF for a week ? I loose the chance to buy them in time :((

i have money in my WALLET so in my account I HAVE RIGHT to buy it easily its my account and money is mine how this is possible to restrict me for ur failed purchase system ?

I have this very same problem. I can purchase games/dlcs from the Store just fine, but I cant add funds to my Steam Wallet in order to purchase items from the market.

Somebody please help me :\

Oh and I've tried to solve this problem by...

1. Purchasing from web browser.

2. Clearing web browser cache and also deleting all files in steam directory as adviced in this forum.
3. Waiting and trying again -_-

I've done everything and my last resort was to contact Steam Support which I know takes days before they reply base on my experience retrieving my account. I'll update this thread..

of course bro. I did everything already. But my issue was the currency thats why I'm getting that error.

I reached for contact support and they replied after 2 days.. They switched my currency where I am located now and the error is gone.

Now I can purchase from steam store and dota 2 store. Using my paypal or credit card details.

Just contact them and have some patience in waiting for their reply. Good luck guys.

WHY would you have a business model that says you can't buy something if you use a proxy? That is completely stupid. ALWAYS take someone's money. How they give that money to you shouldn't be an issue.

Yes they do silly. They fixed my problem in just 3 days, excluding weekends. Thursday, Friday & by Monday, problem fixed!
