is anyone else getting this error when trying to make a purchase on steam ?

every payment method, CC paypal etc. all do the same

I have even tried using a Browser, same error . * cleared Cache cookies etc.

I already put in a support ticket. But who knows how long that will take.

Has anyone had this , and fixed it?

UPDATE~~ Fixed I was able to work around the error.

If anyone else gets this error what i did was revert back to NON beta steam, than I switched back to BETA. This cleared out my cart. And i can now purchase once again.

I hope this helps anyone lese having this issue

obviously I have steam, though it works for me now, it was just a time based thing.

Well, Its my fix and work for me..

About this Error :
There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance

Note : This error related with your country and wallet code... for ex i buy a steam wallet code but i can't use it until change my IP to United State

You need a VPN or Proxy Software , "freegate" is what i want used... its 100% free

1.Download Freegate programm

2.Open Freegate and wait until internet explore launch (its auto)

3.well if u know how to set proxy for Mozilla and Chrome do it ( Server = 127.0.0.1 and Port = 8580) if u dont know how to set it no problem just use Internet Explore

4. Go to store steam and login with your account

5. Buy your Game or what ever you want...

Dont Forget you must use Proxy While Buy somthing

if u get same error as write in this article, so use VPN then Enter to game.. make sure that your IP will convert to US.

hey guys try logging in your steam account while purchasing using browser... hope this helps. just bought the latest compendium but had problems that showed this msg.
