Possible to run steam + games off a Micro SDXC card? 90mb/s read and 80mb/s write?

I'm sure you could but why would you want to? It may be laggy.

yes, but most sdhc cardsa are very slow compared to a hdd

if you do run it off a card, use a usb 3.0 adapter, and make sure the card is class 10/uhs1 or faster

Yeah. I've done it.

Slow to load though. Otherwise, not bad.

Yes it's possible to run Steam off of any read & write storage device you can connect as far as I know.

WIth 90/80 MB/s you should be fine. It's better than some HDDs.

Just curious as I've just gotten a t100ta windows tablet which has limited SSD storage, but I have a 64gig micro SD which fits right in the side

I'm not sure if Steam or games will run on Windows RT (windows for tablets) since it's kind of technically a different OS like WIndows CE.

You could do it but the games would probably lag, stutter, freeze and crash under heavy situations. Light games should run fine. Give it a go.

Able to run WoW, EVE, hearthstone and several other games off the tablet/microSD just fine with no lag c: WoW being on low graphic settings though of course
