no .FLAC for OST's?

I got the free HL2 soundtrack, and found it was in .MP3 format. Big gripe, ya ya... but, some of us care. My Question; Do all OST's purchased from Steam, come in .mp3 exclusively? cant find an answer online.

I didnt really think about what was supported, I just play the files through another application.
However, I dont suppose there would be any possiblilty of .FLAC support? ESPECIALLY now, with the new music player!
