Dying Light "Item currently unavailable in your region"

Anyone know when Dying Light will become available in Australia for pre-order on steam???
I was pretty interested in the Pre-Order only mode of "Be the Zombie", but cant pre-order.... unless its through EB Games or something, but even then there is no mention of getting the extra content/mode.

Any info would be great. THANKS!

I did some searches on Google and I found this news article[gotgame.com] that mentions the following:

If you preorder Techland’s game Dying Light you’ll get a bonus which gives you access to Be The Zombie multiplayer mode. By preordering the game through Steam you will have the chance to take control of the Night Hunter and invade other people’s games.

Also, the bonus includes Punk Queen, a very powerful weapon. The game will be released at the beginning of 2015 on January 30 and it is only available for PC.

It may have to go through some sort official verification before it can be "officially" sold as Australia has some laws regarding violent/sexual games. You should be able to buy a ROW key on an authorized third party site and redeem it to your account without issue.

Australias game moderating laws were lifted there is no more filtering or lower violence versions required to be sold here anymore.

There is no excuse to not be able to buy this game when I can simply buy that new zombie horror survival game, The Evil Within that is also R rated and not filtered or a lower violence version.

TBH you wouldnt know if it had to be censored or if it was just submitted to the classification board that way knowing Australias history with video games. Either way, that anal probe scene showed rape of a man and rape of a small child (and even censored the game was still given an R18+ rating.) Thats a bit different to stabbing a zombie in the face.

Long story short; Australia used to have a ban on R rated games, thats why l4d2 had to be cencored and mortal kombat was banned. But since then the R18+ ban has been removed. You can even download and "uncensor" patch from Steam for l4d2 as free DLC.

I have not seen anything anywhere that confirms why Dying light is unavailable for sale to Australians on Steam. You can still preorder the physical game from EB Games.
