Games will not install or update using Linksys Wifi Adapter AE3000

This just started today, I can not get any games to install or to download their updates. I've tried a number of suggestions from other posts but a lot of them were from several years ago. Anyone have any idea what is going on?

I've managed to track this down to the Linksys Wifi Adapter AE3000 that I recently installed. I switched back to a wired connection and I can install games fine. Anyone know why I'm having issues with the wifi adapter? I'm on Windows 7, I tried getting the latest driver from Linksys but windows tells me the driver I have installed is newer.

I ended up returning the adapter to Amazon and running an ethernet cable down through my basement over to where I moved the router. Most of the solutions I found were to try a different adapter or go wired. Sorry.

This is a driver issue. I have fixed it on my AE3000 today. The drivers on the linksys website are older than the ones on the bundled disc (!). Installing these older drivers worked for me. Just hit 12.8MB/s download. Woof. Go for the linksys connect setup software download. Let's hope they don't update the website!
