Best way is to try and find out when (which year) your PC was up to par... and then just google 'Best PC Games 200X" or whatever that year was
that should get you the best games around that timeframe - its not perfect but should get you started
There's bound to be someone on that subreddit who has the specs that you do, or something similar.
My Intel HD 2500 runs HL2 at 720p low settings around 100fps
Yea HL Games are perfect to run on low end..
Garrysmod is also a good game to have!

Just to name a few little fun games which run well on my seriously under-powered 10.1 netbook.
