Help ! what I should if someone used my credit card

Hello,

I have a problem today someone used my credit card to buy games from steam it cost $159

I contacted the bank to tell them that it wasn't me, they told me I should contact steam first to know what happened because I used the card before 6 month and they cannot do anything before contacting steam.

I check my profile there are no purchases from my account. But when I checked my bank account I saw 7 transaction to Stream some of them are $19.99 and others $29.99.

I don't know what I should do, and what section in the support should I contact.

Can I have any suggestion?

So.. your steam account wasn't hacked.. but your credit card info was hacked and used on someone else's steam account?

I really don't know, when I open my account I found that there is no purchases, but when I open my bank account I found there are seven transactions.

I don't think that my credit card is hacked because there were still money in my card. I believe it may a mistake or something like that

Have patience - Support are always really busy and it may take a week or two for them to respond.

Sorry, but that still doesn't make sense. See, "before 6 month" is not a standard English expression (and is not even grammatically correct). Maybe you meant "6 months before", but then you'd need some kind of reference, such as "6 months before the Ebola outbreak" or even "6 months ago".

As soon as you notice someone else uses your bank account or something, you must inform the bank first.
Then you can contact steam to solve what is related to that.

Instead of necroing Threads you should do what should really be common sense: CONTACT YOUR BANK.
