Steam not sending 'Wishlist' emails
Just an hour ago I saw some new Weeklong Deals show up. They were about one hour early, so I was surprised. But I saw a game I really wanted, and just for the price I wanted it for, so I wasn't complaining!
I asked by brother if he would like to have the game too, and was waiting for him to come down and take a look at it.

Just 15 minutes later I check again, and there are new Weeklong Deals... Okay? But what about that game that just got into sale, and that I wanted to buy? Gone. It's 30 euros again. And not the 7,50 I wanted it for.

This wouldn't be all to bad, and partly by bad for being so ignorant about the times the Deals launched, but this game was on my wishlist. And I have set Steam to SEND ME MAILS if there is any game that goes into sale, that's on my wishlist.
And let me guess? It didn't. It did send me a email for other games, like a 5% off thing, half a week ago. But why didn't it send this to me?

I seriously love Steam, but this is like the 100th time now. It's starting to piss me off.

I always check the Weeklong Deals. Every monday. And the game I wanted wasn't there a week ago. I am sure of that. (I always triple check it hours after launch).

And now I don't have the game I wanted. Steam didn't make any extra money, and I have to wait another year for my game. I would say this is great for everybody.

I tried to look up a section about this in 'support', or any way that I could send a complaint, but there are no options for things like this. I also checked my Steam options twice to look for email-options. They weren't really there.

Is there any way to do something about this?

PS. Sorry if this is not the right place to put this? But there is no place to put it anywhere...

I don't get why I don't receive them all the time. And why do I receive some of them, but I don't receive emails for other games? Seems a bit messy to me. I think Steam should sort this out. I bet it's costing them money too...

Thanks for moving it by the way Eram.

It's a toss up on wether or not I get them. I don't get them more often than I do get them.

I find importing my wishlist to isthereanydeal to be much more reliable. And it covers more than just Steam, and allows for settings like price thresholds.

Hmm, I'll check that out! Thanks!
