Settings affect other accounts
My brother and I use the same computer and we both play CS:GO. When I log in I automatically get all his settings changes such as sensitivity. This means every time I log in I have to change the settings back. Is there any way to prevent this?

Not sure if there's a better solution but here's a somewhat painful solution. I can't test it either.

Quick Google, the default config.cfg file should be in;
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg

So you could run the game in your settings, exit game, copy that file somewhere else. Then get your brother to load the game in his settings, exit the game, he copies his file somewhere. And before you or he launches the game, copy your personal config file into the directory.

I'd personally create a small script to automatically switch them around if I had the same situation.

Could you possibly link me to a tutorial on how to make a script for that?

Unfortunately, Steam leaks stuff across windows user accounts; there is no way to prevent that,. Very bad, very bad, very insecure (it even leaks your credentials, if you save them).

Each of you should copy the contents of the config.cfg after he made his personal settings. Paste them in separate files in the "...SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg" folder, like "configBrother1.cfg" and "configBrother2.cfg".

I'm not sure about this part and how Steam handles launch options with different accounts on the same install, but you can give it a try.

1. Right-click on CS:GO under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
2. Under the General tab click the Set launch options... button.
3. Enter "+exec configBrother1.cfg" (without the " ") and click OK.
4. Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

Your brother should do the same when logged in with his account and his config in step 3.

If that doesn't work because the launch options are global to all accounts, each of you could simply load the config after starting the game with the console.
