You cannot change it permanently since Steam automatically determines your region, but you can "trick" it into showing different currencies by adding "?cc=us" at the end of the URL on the Steam webpage. An example can be shown below:

United Kingdom
http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=uk

United States
http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=us

Japan
http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=jp

I do apologize. You may submit a ticket to Steam Support to see what they can do. If the above does not work, then I have no other solutions.

Steam converted many regions to their native currencies today

The market and the store will now support your native currency and likely more payment mehtods as well as a result.

If you're that hard up on conversions just use Enhanced Steam

Yeah, I don't like this. There's too much of a chance for currency conversion manipulation. I want to see prices in US Dollars and let my credit card company sort out the conversion. Let us switch back please.

Wow what is this, I want USD back! As a trader I need my prices in USD.

It's not possible to trade money. However, Steam market still works fine. It does the adjustments for currency conversion.

It's a hassle but you can go incognito n chrome to check usd prices in steam market. That way you don't have to log out your account in your main browser.
