Stop images auto-cycling in game description?
Is this possible? I've tried looking under my preferences and settings, checked for a button on the page, checked steam's how-to section and searched google. Can't find anyone elese who even asked this so because nobody has asked about it I'm assuming it must be obvious how to do it. I apologise for missing such an obvious thing but I really am stumped.

I need this because my eyes track movement, I find it impossible not to. So if I'm trying to read text or even look at one of the images but I can still see the other images auto-cycling, my eyes involuntarily go towards the movement and then I lose my place/train of thought. I'm sure many of you know this feeling well, it's frustrating and makes it impossible to read a page unless I can get the auto-cycling images right out of view by scrolling, not always possible depending on what I want to look at.

I'd be extremely grateful if someone could point out how to stop it from happening. It's evading me.

Bump.

This also occurs while zoomed into said description images. I draw near to the screen to scutinize the picture, and the next one pops up. I have only a few moments to review it before the automatic scroll displays the next image. Very annoying.

Hm, not exactly helpful...

How has this been an issue for a year and a half? It seems like it would be pretty simple to add an off switch.
lol necro. I have a solution, just scroll down the page so you don't see it. Or block with another window. I've never heard anyone call this a problem before.

It is annoying. I would prefer to be able to look at them at my pace without having them move and switch when I am looking closely at one of the images, thus forcing me to 'rewind' the scroll by one frame.

Six years later and this issue remains unaddressed. Still no way to stop the images cycling after a few seconds. It makes me lose my place in a long string of screencaps for a mod. I have to go back and find the one I was on. Totally unacceptable, archaic, clunky, thoughtless design.

It still moves the image selection far down the line by the time I have finished examining one image.

I'm having issues also.. I'm looking at some mods for my games, and as I'm reading it keeps changing pictures. it's quite annoying. please make a setting for us to disable it, but leave it on automatically?

It seems they made it so once you click the image to view it in fullscreen, it no longer scrolls automatically.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
