How to put animated GIF file on steam profile

I'v seen it before, but don't remember who had animated gif on his profile. I'm sure you have to use your Showcase for it. I've level 20 steam level, so have 2 showcase. Which one should I use? Custom info? Then how to put animated gif on there?

right now you can just drag a gif off the net, click upload artwork, click non-specific games and just drop the gif in there.

You have to be a Level 10 minimum to unlock the Showcases. The Artwork Showcase is the one you are looking for.

So get making some badges and you will be there soon!

Because you need a higher level on you Steam account.

I added a gif to my art showcase but its not appearing on the very front of my profile i have to go to artwork. Can someone please tell me how to get it on the front of my steam profile?

Craft Steam badges until you reach level 10, and set your showcase you unlock as an artwork showcase.

u get a showcase every on every 10 levels. once u get to level 10 u'll get a showcase
