shortcut Steam suddenly disappeared + games are deleted ?

PLEASE help someone im in URGENT need of help.

I saw that the STEAM shortcut disappeared it was there on my desktop but it looked like an deleted shortcut. Pressing on that shortcut my PC said that this was an invalid action and thus the shortcut would be removed..

So i installed Steam again, but in the list of installed games everything was empty everything was greyed out like if they were deleted. I can only see the install button of the games, the strange thing is that my PC harddrive doesnt say that there are games removed from the harddrive it has still the same ammount of space as before like if the games are still installed, Steam says otherwise that the games are deleted too.

Its a pain in the @#S to download everything again and im affraid that it will conflict somehow with my PC and take more harddrive space.

For now i'm not doing annaything till i get some solutions.

The game files may need to be validated (click on them as if you were going to install) or your Steam libraries may need to to be added to your Steam settings. Try this: In the top left corner of the Steam client, click "Steam" > "Settings" > "Downloads" tab > "Steam Library Folders" button. Check and make sure that any and all Steam libraries across all your drives (i.e. C:\Program Files\Steam\, D:\Steam\) you may have are in that list.

dito, what are the odds that i happen to get the same problem today lol, just put in a new hard drive n didn't know how to swap the directory check, thanks :)
