i downloaded the .scr file and i deleted it, didnt open
so i was curious and clicked on the link, left steam, and boom the .scr file downloaded, i didnt click on it and deleted it and emptied my recycle bin, i have 2 knives in csgo and im worried.
am i safe?

Probably, scan the entire PC to ensure that you didn't got hit by drive-by download (unlikely).

what a stupid question, lots of threads about being scammed by .scr files and you think you're the only one

If you didn't launch it, you're probably safe for 99%. You can never be too sure.
