"Malaysian Ringgit is coming to Steam!"
Just got an email from Steam, saying that games will start being priced in RM effective September 16.

My question is, is this just concerning RM, or is Steam gonna introduce other new currencies on the 16th?

Thanks!

Many games are significantly cheaper for users of the new currency

Payday2 = 29.99 USD

56 Malaysian Ringgit = 17.34 US Dollar
199999 Indonesian Rupiah = 16.739136 US Dollar
759.95 Philippine Peso = 17.147 US Dollar
559 Thai Baht = 17.355 US Dollar
29 Singapore Dollar = 23.19 US Dollar

However some games like DayZ are not cheaper
Some game devs chose to convert the price directly. (i.e. 1 USD = RM3.2 currently)

VERY VERY small number of games are like that.
