Steam Buttons Not Working
A lot of community-centered buttons haven't been working for me for about a week now. Meaning, subscribe buttons, inventory menus, thread posting (having to make this from my phone), etc. simply don't work. Like I said, the problem has persisted for a while so steam and my computer have been restarted several times.

Edit: in case I wasn't clear I have no idea how I can fix this, so I'd like to know if anyone else is having the same issue and if they found a fix for it. Any help would be appreciated greatly. Also, I'm adding this instead of editing the original post because (big spoiler incoming) the edit button doesn't work, and there doesn't appear to be one on my phone.

See if refreshing your Steam files corrects this problem.

Problem persists. Browser is okay, client is buggy.

Forgot I had made this thread, but I'll go ahead and post what I did to fix it. I reinstalled steam, but kept my games. You can do that easily by deleting all the files in your steam folder EXCEPT the steam.exe and your library folder(s). If you're like me and you have your games on a drive seperate fro myour steam client, they won't be deleted this way but they may not appear immeiately when you reinstall steam. They're still there though, just set up an extra library folder where your old one was and when you next start an installed game it will say "discovering existing game files" rather than redownload it. It's a little painful, but not as bad as it could be.

Well thank you. I already thought about that method bringing the solution to this problem.

It's because of the 7 days trade ban I will get so I didn't try it already. But thank you for this information, now I know it works. :D

I don't think I got that ban, because it wasn't a different IP, but it may have been because I registered my comp as the same name.

Restart Steam.

If it doesn't work, then exit Steam.
Hold down the [Windows] and [R] -keys
%localappdata%

Navigate to the Steam -folder within that and remove htmlcache

Restart Steam and see if it works any better.
