Since you got the message to begin with, you may want to think back situations where you've recently filled in your Steam credentials. Has someone asked you to add someone with a misspelled link without a http/www -prefix that you copied to your web-browser for example?

If so, you may want to run an antivirus & antimalware scan on your computer. You can do an antimalware scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware that you can download from here: http://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mbam/
