hype hype and more hype.
Honestly "gaming" keyboards are nothing but hype.
Only thing I like about them is usually size and how the keys feel. Extra buttons hardly get used by myself.

If you want to "optimize" it. Basically you need to create macros for the games you play.
For example, in league of legends, you could create a macro that does a certain ability combination. Alistar might be a good champion to try to create a macro combo.

In my opinion macro's and such are best used in simulation games, rts games, and mmo's.
Basically you use it to push a bunch of buttons in combinations you need quickly.

If you want your keyboard to play the games for you by all means it is possible.
One crazy idea that comes to mind is guildwars2 jumping puzzles. It is very possible to macro the puzzles to push a single button and watch yourself jump and hop around to complete it flawlessly each time haha.

edit:
I think razer synapse lets you make your macros. its a program you need to install.

yeah, like I said. Macros wont really be useful in anything but: rts, simulation, mmo...

shooters dont typically have many things you would need or want to macro.
If the buttons are more convienient for you, make it a weapon swap or something.

Best thing you can use those buttons for is to macro some things in chat. So you can quickly type messages.

You could say things like:
"good luck have fun!"
"good job guys"
"I need some help!"
"MEDIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"YOU ALL #$%^&*( SUCK AT THIS GAME I HATE ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!"
etc all with the push of a button.
