Problem Steam Connection

Hi,

I am the only one who are not able to connect to steam?

Ok thanks. I have try to change my password, don't change anything. So, if u have the same problem, it means that servers are down i guess.

Could you guys attempt this (although I'm thinking it's fixed, it's still worth a shot.)

1. Head over to

   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\

2. Right mouse click Steam.executable
   
   • Choose "Make a shortcut"
3. Right mouse click the new shortcut (Steam.lnk - or the like.)
   
   • Properties -> [General] -tab
     
   • Target
     
   • Add -tcp to the end so it looks like

     "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -tcp

4. Launch Steam with the shortcut.

It has to be for the .lnk -file. You cannot add launch parameters to the executable directly.

You need to make a shortcut of the executable, by right mouse clicking it and choosing the Make a shortcut -option.

I'm sorry to hear it doesn't, it's possible there's a temporary server side issue as well; I noticed it upon troubleshooting with another Steam -account. Weirdly enough, whenever I try accessing this one it boots up just fine. (Same computer, same client version; different account.)

Meanwhile, you could test these: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1456-EUDN-2493 Although if it's worked before; it's likely a temporary issue.

Same problem ... cant even add tcp to shortcut and getting message ''Steam is having trouble connecting to the Steam servers'' ... and i just wanted to play games since i got a day off Q.Q
