How to disable the Steam Cloud ?

In the lastest game I've bought here, Shadowrun Returns, it seems I'm forced to play online because when I save offline I'm then unable to load the save later.
Normaly it seems possible to disable the Cloud in the properties of the game, by un-ticking the line "Activate the Cloud synchronisation for Shadowrun Returns"... but this tick is greyed so I can't un-tick it.
Is it normal that I can't un-tick this option ?
Does it means I'm forced to play online even if I don't want to ?

It is safe to say that Shadowrun Returns doesn't require an internet connection.

I suggest reinstalling the game and/or Steam.

This is not normal.

Your reassuring reply (and the fact I'm a bit too lazy to reinstall everything especialy with my quite slow internet access), gave me the motivation to continue searching and I've found the solution : In the (general) Steam parameters, I've noticed my Cloud options were not actived, while the Shadowrun Returns cloud synchro were activated (and greyed). I guessed this conflict of cloud setting (between the general one and the one specific to the game in question) was probably the reason of my issue, so I've re-activated the general Steam Cloud parameters temporarly, then went to the Shadowrun Returns cloud synchro setting and they were not greyed anymore. Good sign ! So I was able to unactivate them and then I unactivated the (general) Steam Cloud parameters and tried to load my savegame offline... and it's now working !
