i cant buy for 30 days ??

alright so i just bought my 20$ steam credit in EB games
i redeem it and yea it work.. but i cant buy anything.. it says need 30 days or etc etc
should i buy any Steam game? or i just need to wait for 30 days?

You can buy any games you want. It's only the community market you can't use for 30 days.

Edit: One question OP, since you bought it at EB Games and redeemed it, did you buy a Steam Wallet card?

Limited accounts can't use Steam Market; your level 1 seems to imply you're not limited - any further purchases are not necessary and you will just have to wait for the 30 days to pass.

Therefore any further transactions should not be necessary, however in doubt you may check https://store.steampowered.com/account/ for any acquisition methods listed with Steam Store or Gift/Guest Pass; or In-Game Item transactions with events marked as Purchase under https://store.steampowered.com/account/ingame_transactions

That's not what I'm implying (incase you directed this at me.) I'm saying not only does Market require a transaction; but an unlimited account. (which OP seems to have; the latter)

OP, since you redeemed it, did you buy a physical Steam Wallet -card? Because if you did, then you will have to buy a game or an item BEFORE the 30 day countdown starts; because Wallet card redemption does NOT count as a transaction.

- You will have to buy a game/app from Steam Store http://store.steampowered.com for it to count as a transaction

OR complete a microtransaction in the in-game store.

Then wait the 30 days.

If you didn't

Then the fund add was a transaction and no further steps are necessary. Just wait for the 30 days to pass.
