How can I automatically send a trade offer, like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and Scrap.TF?
I am developing a website where it will be necessary for users to dispense and withdraw items. I'm looking for a way to automatically send a trade offer with the click of a button. I need to know how to do the following:

- Can I do this with the Steam Web API? If not, what library/program should I use to accomplish automated trade offers via the web?
- How do I then initiate the trade offer with the user, including the specified items?

I have been researching this forever and the best I can find is node-steam and node-steam-tradeoffers. These look like they would work great, but I'm not sure how to pass the items I want to trade or the users I want to trade with to these bots. I would also like (if possible) a callback including the trade number to verify when the user accepts the offer. I appreciate any help!

I know you can do this with SteamBot: https://github.com/Jessecar96/SteamBot but I am trying to find another way of doing this for my website.

I think the best way would be to avoid bots altogether. Your users should have public inventories and trade links enabled. Then they could advertise their items (that your site would conveniently let them sort by cathegories etc.) Then they could initiate trade through trade link that each user has to provide. The trade process would be handled through Steam.

Having bots and "automated" systems would be too open for scams and Valve would put your site in black list together with all the lottery scams.

Or what to you think?
