SInce when do you get banned for reporting a thread hijack?? Starforge forum
I would like to ask the steam mods here since when it was normal to have your thread hijacked....then get banned for reporting the guy hijacking the thread?

I just started a LEGIT dsiscussion on the Starforge forum regarding the fact we have an incomplete product and I asked how many players felt we should get a refund for the incomplete game we all purchased due to the false advertising we all know happened. Im not saying anything that was secret. I just wanted a concise number with a view to getting a mass refund which we have a right to request.

I made the first thread. player called IamNick hijacks my thread despite it stating it was not a discussion thread

I delete it...remake the thread and Iamnick jumps all over the 2nd directly derailing and trolling my thread. I edit it. Change the title into a DISCUSSION THREAD over the petition thread I was making and made yet a new post for the petition to collect names. He then trolled and derailed the 3rd thread and after reporting this player I get permanent banned from the starforge forum?

I was once banned for derailing on the rust forum when I tried to help a user complaining of hacks by giving him my server info to joinand listing my server features....1 post..short...and I was banned for derailing...

WHy was IamNick asllowed to derail 3 different threads of mine with ast least 10 posts between them and I get banned after reporting him? I used the logic given to me previopusly by steam moderators but your moderators rules are not apparently consistent?

Do I have to post this all over my facebook? Make copies of the conversations for Steams facebook and twitter?

Seriously fix this or I will

Reply to the developers message that was sent to you. This has nothing to do with any of the moderators on steam. It says right there on the message you were sent.

Please check your moderation messages.

and where do i click for steam support? theres nothing obvious for direct communication with steam staff who are NOT linked with the games your complaining over. Ould you be so kind as to direct me to the correct page?

there is no one time game refund.

support is on every page or under help in your steam client.
create a support account.

You can't go around creating refund petitions.

It's only natural that they would stop you in your tracks.

That's their forum. Their turf. Their rules.

Before anyone believe a Moderator abused his on him he re posted the same thread 2 times after it had been deleted by a Forum specific admin. This breaks one of the rules already.

No it had not been deleted by a forum specific admin at that time. I deleted the 2 previous posts.

I suggest you check your logs and find ther ip address of all the posts made in the last 2 hours by me and then find the ip address of who delete them.

2 of the posts that i referred to I deleted before reposting...not the moderator. I can see where this is going...

Corporate bs about to happen here where your all right and I am wrong becvause I am not a corporation.

Dare you to get the ip address of access and the commands used.

You have a nice technical setup with steam..you can log things like post editing and ip addresses cant you?

TheChronicX0 Just now
hold on...this mod on this thread accused me of something again which is not true.

A mod did not delete my supposed spam posts becausew I did prior to remaking it which means there was NO duplicate posts spammed on the forum. Just an attermpt to stop a thread hijacker....but again they wont look at the logs..It would proove I am right and then they would have to.......DO SOMETHING FOR THE CONSUMER for once and that might loose them a purchase......

spoof Just now
the volunteer mod did not accuse anybody
the mod gave the facts or the mod did not give accurate facts.
I do not see an accusation in it.

calimero much?

andhere we have a second mod doing the exact same as what I am complaining over......you are not taking in the information given to you and selectively reading what suits you
you just get a kick out of this on facebook.
thats why you do not listen.

out for action.

verwarde kinders.
i havent posted anything on facebook over this..Neither mine nor steams
than why the sensationalism and acting like you are calimero?

Really? I am british. I hold a british passport and that sound like your bordering on racism now. How about accept 1 mod already did the dirty....dont make it more serious by ignoring a valid complaint without even looking into the proof of the accusation that I did not spam and a mod did NOT have to delete all my posts. I know how logging works. I know they can list the ip of the last person to edit or delete a post. I suggest they use it before stating outright I was the rule braker.

I also suggest spoof if you dont have anything remotely intelligent or on subject keep your hands off the keyboard. You dont have to resond to my post.

I...on the other hand have to respond as its my post and I want to be dealth with fairly and that is not happening right now.

ANd yes I appear angry. Thats because I AM angry. I just got abused and wrongly banned on a forum and now lies are been told to make it look like I broke the rules first when..sorry to repeat this..the evidence of ip addresses will show my ip deleting my posts...not a mod until I was banned. Then he deleted the discussion post and the petition....which is wrong..the discussion post simply was proof that his friend IamNick Hijacked a 2nd post..hence its gone....that again I did NOT delete and if thats the post the mod is referring to it contained no profanities. No bad mouthing...no slander...just a discussion regarding the POSSIBILITY that a petition thread would make a difference or not.

I see now that IamNick was right. However been a friend of the devs I can hardly imagine anyone there having a problem with his breaking the rules and are apparently quite happy to try to perform a reversal on the situation to keep his friends in good stead.
