Does dedicated video RAM matter?

Hey, I want to play Evolve, and I have all of the specs. I just don't have enough dedicated video RAM. I have 512 mb but I need 1 GB. My specs are as follows.

Processor: AMD A6-3140MX APU with Radeon(tm) HD graphics 1.60 Ghz
Installed Memory (RAM): 5.00 GB (4.47 GB usable)
Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6520G

Can I run Evovle without lag and FPS drops with the shortage of dedicated video RAM?

It matters, particularly at higher resolutions and with better textures. Also, your card doesn't meet the minimum spec even if it had 1GB of ram; the 5770 is considerably better than the 6520G.

more than likely not, even on the lowest settings you dont have enough to run it....

You might think it's fake and whatever, but http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri says that I can if I have the video RAM. And if not, any other game considerations that are like Evolve?

I don't think it's fake, I'm just telling you the specs of the cards.

I'm sorry, but it underperforms in every category. The game won't play.
