wired xbox 360 controller won't work on PC Razer Sabertooth

Hi so i need some big help. so i just got a new computer with windows 7 install and i try to plug in the Sabertooth razer Xbox 360 controller and get unknown device issue. so i then go to Microsoft website and download the Microsoft xbox 360 accessories 1.2 and i still get the issue where i can't seem to get the controller to be recognized?

On my old computer that had windows 7 as well all i had to do was plug the usb cable in and bam it found the drivers and installed it for u.Anyway so after that i go in too the device manager and try to install the unknown device (controller) manually but i can't find the Microsoft Common Controller for Windows Class. I have also tried installing the exe file you get from Microsoft in windows compatibility mode windows 7 and 2008 mode. Please help!
