Please advise local to player co-op PC games

Hello.

I am in the market for local two player co-op games. Me and my girlfriend have no games to play for the computer. She is getting into gaming and I am a fan of survival horror , action/adventure type of games. We've already beaten resident evil 6 as that game has off-line co-op. For every game a developer releases it seems they assume that we have no physical friends leaving only the option of playing on line which is really frustrating. At least for PC.

Anyway, I'm very interested to know if there any more games that can accommodate our needs. Thank you and have a good day

Chariot is an amazing game to play with the girlfriend, me and my missus love that game because of how casual it is, if you're looking for more action there's also dynasty warriors 8. Lara croft guardian of light is also amazing with the girlfriend, mix of action and puzzle. Otherwise heres a list of 2 player co-op games (2 player games on the same machine)

ALso you can play resident evil 5 split screen with two xbox controllers, you just need to mod it, cant remember where it is, but im pretty sure you can just google it.
