Question about gifts

My friend is from Russia, I am from Georgia. I want to give him Deltarune, but I'm not sure if I can. Like in my country Deltarune costs 12.49$, and in Russia 1099 Rubles (currently 13.65$) Can I?

The same question with Undertale, Georgia - 6.99; Russia - 3.09

When you try to buy it as a gift, what happens? If you're unable to you'll get a message, and if able to you'll succeed.

As far as the price goes the limit for gifting is +/- 10% between regions. Although the other wrinkle is whatever you're using for the conversion may not be the same resource Valve is using. So estimation might give you an idea, trying to purchase the games would be definitive.

Other issue aside from price difference might be the sanctions Russia is under, as Valve is a U.S. company. Not sure how that effects gifting. But again, trying and seeing what the response is would be definitive.

I'm from Russia, there are no problems with sanctions, if we're talking about the game Deltarune, Toby Fox is not involved in politics, the problem is the price. You can't give it as a gift because the price in your regions is too different, and you can't give a gift card to a Russian account (that's already sanctions). Your friend needs to have a different region so that you can at least give him a "gift card".

As long as the price doesn't exceed 10% between regions, in which both Tobyfox games cannot be gifted.
