Help about "Access denied"
Yesterday I was looking through the store like usually, and after a couple minutes I got back to the store frontpage and got a blank page that said something like "Access Denied - you can't access this site" (sorry I panicked and didn't take any screenshots). I checked in the client and it was the same blank page but only in the store, the library and games worked just fine. I sorta got around it, cleaning my browser's cache and using Windows' CMD, but now I wanna know why something like this could happen? I've been using Steam for years and this is the first time this happens to me, is there a way to avoid this to happen? It really scared me out lol

PS: I've read in here and other forums that it could be some kind of timeout for some shady request from your IP. I use a browser extension called "Steamcito" that converts the prices in the store from US dollar to the Argentine peso. To my understanding, it's just a pretty simple quality of life extension that lets you know how much are you really paying, but could it be the cause of this "Access denied" error? I've been using it for a couple of years and never had a problem

I would appreciate any help or clarification regarding this issue, thanks

Likely just errors caused by the weekly maintenance.
You most likely hit a server rate limit of some form, (which usually goes away with time) and I'd wonder as well if the extension you have installed is the culprit if it's making requests to Steam's API. Try intentionally reproducing the issue with and without the extension enabled and you'll likely better understand its cause.
