Steam wont auto start on windows startup and nothing will fix it.
I have had this issue for a while now and its really frustrating. It used to always startup automatically when i turned on my PC and a couple of years ago it just stopped. i done some digging at the time and checked my settings and they are all still the same, but it still wont work. for a while I gave up, but tonight I thought I would give it another go. So these are the things I have done:

I have checked that the option is switch on through steam settings:

I have checked that it is enabled in the startup manager:

I have added a Steam shortcut to "shell:Startup" through Win+R:

I have cleared the download cache:

And still nothing works, has anyone got any other options?? I really don't want to uninstall and reinstall Steam from scratch. :steamsad:

Either something preventing it from launching on startup, or there is fault in client which have to redownload client files if haven't done already by deleting everything in steam folder except for steamapp folder to keep your games installed, then run steam.exe and test.

As all have to do have setting enable via steam client, or adding shortcut to the shell:startup, but since neither working, something likely preventing it on startup if this a file & permission issue, UAC, or 3rd party app causing the issue.
