"game not available in your region"
while the message i get for a game listed as such is clear what is not is who do i contact in regards to it

is there a place i can check to see why or if its going to change?
what about asking for it to be available in my region, the blank statement seems a bit "aggressive" suggesting that its a one and done deal
while i can only imagine steam is not directly choosing who can or cannot play a game in their region an option to see why the people behind the game's sales would be nice

is there an option to direct me to who i need to contact in order to see if a game could be available in my region in the near future and if not could it be changed?

You need to contact the publisher or developer to find out why this is the case.
region restricting is a dev/publisher thing, only they can answer your questions

Publisher/developer

No one is responsible for how you choose to hear direct statements. No one is responsible for the emotion or intent you invent and add to a direct statement. No one can stop you from hearing an evil cackle at the end of that statement while you imagine the decision was malicious. That's not a problem for anyone to solve but you.

But the short answer is it is "one and done". The owner of the product made a decision about their product. You might find that inconvenient, or be curious what the reasons are, but you're not actually owed an explanation.

Well if it's an "option" developers/publisher could leave it blank, which wouldn't be so useful. Or their reason could be equally as direct and not very satisfying for what you probably want.

I mean, "We have no plans to support region X", wouldn't really satisfy you methinks.

Who developed and published the game is not a secret.... do you really need an option to suggest that the product owner is who you should contact?

i may have used a strong word when i said aggressive but you really gave some kind of dramatic monologue that i find funny, while not helpful you did make my day brighter :)

I'm not responsible for your language choices or what you said. When you use strong language and you don't like the response it illicits, who's responsible for that?

But I think I get it now. If you don't like what you hear, you'd rather ignore it and fish for a more favorable response. Well, that's often going to be a recipe for disappointment. Good luck.

Probably banned in most islamic countries for its depictions
Banned in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine for geopolitical reasons
