Select audio recording from games and selected programs:
In the list of programs, select Discord.
Check the settings of Discord:
Make sure that the application is allowed to access the microphone in the privacy settings.
To do this, press Windows + S and type "Microphone Privacy Settings."
In the settings menu, enable the option "Allow apps to access your microphone."
In the same menu, you will find a list of all applications that have access to the microphone.
You need to select Discord:
Update Discord. To do this, launch the application, find its icon in the system tray, right-click on it, and select "Check for updates."
Unfortunately, Windows 11 isn't finding the Discord app under the "let apps access your microphone" part, but Windows is saying it is under "let desktop apps access your microphone"
So, I assume Windows has given access to it at some point, but Steam won't pick it up as something to select.
I've also disabled my Wave link, but nothing changes.
is there anything else i can do?
