Used a Debit Card for Credit Card Verification
I made multiple small purchases in Steam recently and it made me verify a credit card. But I was using a debit card for my purchases, not a credit card. So I verified that card, and during the process, they made up this fake pending transaction, and I had to enter the number that appeared in that transaction. The verification ended successfully.

The problem is that the transaction actually decreased my card balance, probably because I used a debit card instead of a credit card. So what happens to that money now? Am I gonna get that back if I wait a couple of days? Do I need to contact my bank or something?

They will drop off your bank account in a few days.

When will the authorizations be removed from my credit card statement?

Depending on your bank and their processes, it may take up to 30 days for the authorizations to be removed from your credit card statement. This can occur whether you verify the card or not.

oh, I totally missed that. Thanks for the replies!
Debit/credit card verifications on any site where present, always require a small monetary amount to be taken as part of the process. This money is returned once the card becomes verified and this can take a varied amount of time depending on the payment provider.
