bruh i req some answers
i bought a game like a few hours ago and i was charged for it 24 euros to be exact and right as it was about to be compleated it said something went wrong i didnt get the game and i lost money what do i do?

Wait for the pending transaction to be rolled back by your bank. This can take days or even weeks.

You think you lost money?

  1. So do you imagine a banking transaction has never failed for any reason in the last 30 years?
  2. If no, then can you accept transactions may occasionally fail for lots of reasons, it's just never happened to you before?
  3. Ok so accepting that sometimes transactions fail, do you think maybe there's processes for every possible case and maybe what's happened to you isn't new or unique?
  4. And come to think of it, how familiar are you with the inner workings of various banking systems? What happens when you make a successful transaction? And why would assume some failure means that money is destroyed and lost to the ether? You might think that's obviously unacceptable, maybe other people have thought so too. And maybe entities driven by voracious greed, like banks and for profit businesses might not be cool with money just disappearing into nothing. Because it wouldn't just be your $24, it could be a million transactions. And what if its the banks own money.... that's "lost"? Or are you thinking that someone else just gets the money, bank error in their favor, like banking is based on monopoly rules?

In short the money isn't lost. Your bank has it. Your bank knows where it's at.

Valve support can't do anything about a transaction that failed or money they never received. Unless you mean your bank's customer support...
