Steam overlay freezes PC

I've been experiencing this problem with Steam for about a week now. It randomly freezes my PC in different games. I don't seem to be able to replicate it at will, however, it's a matter of luck if I SHIFT+TAB and it causes the bug.
I tried reaching out to Steam Support and they gave me an automatic response telling me that it should be a hardware malfunction, which, is a lame for an answer for something that could potentially damage my workstation.
Please, support, if you are reading this research what is causing the problem.
In case you are wondering if it's my hardware:
CPU Ryzen 7 5700X
GPU Zotac RTX 2060
RAM 16 GB
SSD 240GB WD

I saw another Steam post about this, a lot, if not almost eveyone, gets the freeze, it's not about drivers or else, i have a high end PC and i also crash.

The guy on that Steam post said that the problem has been reported to Steam themselves, could be from Steam or not, it happens a lot on CS2 but apparently also on other games, so we just have to wait until they find the glitch and patch it unfortunately.
