Might have been scammed?
Recently I was on discord and on this server a guy drops a link to a free £50 steam gift card and my dumb ass clicks on it and puts in my information. Then i get signed out of steam and my password doesn't work? I managed to reset my password and log back in but i'm worried that there might still be someone with access to my account?

I don't know please help or respond.

Yes, scam. That's as far as I have to read to answer that.

Steps to take NOW to secure the account:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Thanks man,

i did a scan and it found 17 things? It said it was potential problems or something but they've been quarantined. do you think i will be able to buy things safely on steam from now on?

Probably not, until you do all in the list. Also, probably not until you figure out how those 17 things are on your computer. They didn't get there by themselves.

Indeed. Lil' Timmy has two different problems. He has been phished and he has malware on his computer. That's really bad.

@Lil' Timmy: Remove the malware and follow all the steps from post #1 to secure your Steam account. You should also change the passwords of all your other online accounts (like email etc.) because of the malware.

Stop downloading random stuff from the internet!
