Steam client has visual bugs.

So, pictures fails to load on my library, like game logos, achievement icons and such. Activity feed, only few images load, everything from profile pictures to achievement icons are blank. There's also a red line on the address bar and on the top right, the buttons for closing, hiding and resizing the screen, some icons are red. Any idea how to fix this ? I tried relaunching steam and rebooting my pc.

Sounds like an issue with your PC as nobody else has reported this issue. Could be an issue with your graphics card, GPU, or monitor.

Unsure if it's my GPU, as steam is the only application that behaves like this, there's no performance issues, games run normally and no visual bugs in other apps and the visual bug on steam persists between screen (i have dual monitors)

More like cached data load issue, imo, try clear steam web browser user data in steam settings.

we other sue Ccleaner and apps like that, to optimizing pc, but hey they do use aggresvive marketing campaign, but so do many other apps.

also why you do not see post with ppl recommended them anymore.

use default settings in the app, ( its a pro tool, and there is alot of option i will never do, unless i had read about it. but anyway gl with try clean pc many temporary crap files all over our pc, and that why many use such apps.)

feel free to use windows cleanup in advan mode, also such might help sometimes, depend on whre they issue is with system.
as always do reboot afterwards, so system creat whatever you jsut clear and also so you know it worked. (you can sometime feel a improvement in performance, require you knoww your pc well in the first place. some pc user do not.feel the run faster aka smoother.

you can also look at it maybe you should be happy you find something and windows fix itself, but dont count on it.

Cache clean worked. Used to use Ccleaner but they got into some controversy so i stopped and never looked for a replacement soft for it. I occasionally reinstall windows so i never bothered, thanks for the tips too.

And that why i put it like that stick to default ccleaner settings untill you know better.
same as when you enter any other app or settings you simple do not chenge things you do not know what is doing. ( require inf i what the consequence is. ) same as we dont enter windows rigi and delete all that almost say itself here.

But ppl got use to app is safe , not professonal app they grant access to all and it users problem in what they are doing. ( imo ) and yes sometimes they explan like crap, depend on the translation also +revesed and then it can only go down from here.
