I GOT HACKED BY A GERMAN HACKER VIA STEAM LINK

can someone help me track this person down or help me get my account back?
this all started by me unknowingly clicking a $50 steam card my friend had sent me. little did I know that that link, was the hacker's tool into logging in my account.

So you got phished through phishing. Good to know. Now secure your account and stop getting phished.

If by Steam link you're saying it was a genuine link to a Steam site that's incorrect. It was a fake site, if you check the URL it'll usually either be completely obvious or have a misspelling e.g. steamcomunity not steamcommunity.

And your friends account is also most likely compromised and it's the phisher that's controlling it who sent you the link. If you can contact that friend outside steam tell them, if not then report that account to Steam who will lock it alerting your friend to the problem.
