Does Steam refund to Gift Cards?

I recently bought Ready Or Not and some other games, then refunded them to a visa gift card I bought them with. Steam said they refunded the products, but when I check the balance on the visa gift card, it stays the same! Do they not refund to visa gift cards, and if so, how do i reach them to refund to my steam wallet instead?

if steam cannot refund to the original payment method, the money will go into the steam wallet.

refunds are not instant, it can take a few days or longer for the money to show up depending on the payment method.

Refunds are not instant. You have to wait for Visa to process the refund from Steam.

Alternatively contact Visa Gift card and query if a refund is incoming and the length of time it takes to process.

However, if you prefer to have the refund reflected on your visa gift card balance, you’ll have to wait for 30 days.

It's normally 24 hours for me. It's always been that way. If I had debit cards, I assume it'd be the same.
