High increase in Idle Temperatures
I've been using an H100i for long time with my Ryzen 9 5900x and it'd idle at 40C but now it's been idling at 60C even though the coolant temp and temperature have been the same as before. What do I do? :debug:

I mean if you're idling at 60C it means something is going wrong with your cooling system. You should address that ASAP because it sounds like a slow but inevitable failure is coming.

If your coolant temps are the same, it means that the heat from the CPU is not being re-circulated into the cooilng system. This either means your pump is failing (mine did at one point) or your thermal paste connection to the cooler is bad so your heat is stuck on the CPU and not going itno your cooling system quick enough

Idle temps don't reallty mean much, especially now we're starting to get into Summer. what are your load temps? are they 20c higher?

Check Task Manager for background processes using CPU.
Crypto miner happened bro, stop going to dark corner of the internet
CPU idle temp is back down to 41C even though the usage is the same as before, under load it goes to 66C. No I don't go to the deep or dark web, though I guess I should've ran a full scan first.
Nevermind it's back to 60C, same CPU usage and coolant temp (34.5-36C) as before. No viruses found.

I've been out all day, left my PC on, when I came home my CPU was idling at 64C, this morning when it was cooler it was idling at 46c, nothing has changed, nothing bad has happened, it just warmer.

Check for firmware/UEFI updates. Maybe there's a bug related to reported temperature.

Guess you're right, my UEFI was 2 years behind though.
Ryzen 9 5950x has an idle 45°C - 60°C (varying).
