Please help with privating games from my library
I've been trying to wrap my head around this for the past few hours. I've been trying to private a chunk of my library for personal reasons but every attempt I make with it it doesn't seem to work. I've tried hiding them, setting them to private, looking at my profile in incognito mode, asking my friends to look, none of it works. Am I just misunderstanding how this system works, or is it some sort of glitch? If anyone has any insight I'd love to hear it.

Right click on the game in your library list, select manage and set to private. No one else will be able to see the game but you.

Note that privating a games only makes it private 'from now on'

but it does not go back and retroactively pull things. It won't remove any previous notfications in your friend activity list and such.

Please refer to the FAQ on this and understand what the feature does, and more importantly, does NOT do.

If you think it is not working correctly you ened to be extremely specific as to what in particular is not working aka you should say

symptom: privated game A
expected behavior : i would expect that game A would Y
observed behavior: Game A shows up in these specific areas, as well as in these parts
