Steam Deck performance overlay suddenly appearing

I have this issue where the performance overlay often appears while I'm playing a game. Always at level 3, too. I thought maybe I had pressed a shortcut to display it, but I've never seen anything about it. If there is, I'd like to know so I can at least turn it off again without have to pause the game each time.

Did anyone else experience anything like this?
