[ Closed ] Would anyone recommend a similar program like CCleaner?
But here on Steam. Seems like for odd reasons CCleaner cannot work and I've stopped using it for a year already but I've kept the installation executable. Do you know or can recommend me searching for similar programs with the same functionality and purpose?

Ever since I've installed a brand new game purchased last night, the free space remained at 258 gb. Tonight initilized and booted my PC and noticed free space went down to 249 so I've started searching everywhere and couldn't find anything abnormal but without CCleaner I cannot trully know.

Look up BleachBit, that is similar to CCleaner.
If you cannot find a software what you want on Steam, then there is none. Did only answer alternative initially.
Personally I don't use those kinds of apps, but I do know there is none on Steam. BleachBit is going to be your best alternative unless you can figure out why CCleaner isn't working for you. Maybe your version of CCleaner just needs to be updated?

Hmm, what version of Windows are you using right now? Scenario Windows 10/11 no need, you could free up some space without CCleaner without using Hibernate from CMD and without System Restore Point or just remove unused files also not important.
But back in 2010s with Windows XP/7/8/8.1 better wih CCleaner or just Windows Disk Defragment.

Bleachbit. And I would advise staying far away from CCleaner. If you have to ask "Why?" ... then you are in a situation where you should absolutely stay away from it entirely.

Revo Uninstaller is a good one, even the free version suffices.
